I know this is trying to be witty satire towards racism in America but really……100%. The film just seems kinda dumb

dumb to make a movie about racism that is racist itself with the angry black woman and dumb white stereotypes

welcome to 21st century cinema where you can be blatantly racist but as long as you say you are making a statement then its deemed as witty and a masterpiece and people will ignore the racist remarks and stereotypes.

It’s not racism though, it’s satire. A true form of it, as it actually comes from marginalized individuals and not white guys (Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart).
People can watch Comedy Central, shows like Family Guy and South Park, shows with blatantly offensive stereotypes that have a history of dehumanization and call it “comedy” or “satire” but somehow aren’t able to understand and empathize with the blatant racism and microagressions white people put on Black people everyday, instead, they call it racism. The irony is astounding!

I remember how much her realization that she was “never going to be good enough for him” resonated with me when I first watched this movie. She decided to push herself, not to be with him, but to prove him the fuck wrong.

Strong female role models who can still wear pink and love fashion. Yes yes yes.

I FUCKING LOVE THIS MOVIE OH MY GODDDDDDDDDD

CAN WE JUST STOP FOR A SEC THO?

HE’S INSULTING HER FOR BEING DUMB

SHE GOT INTO THAT SCHOOL ON HER OWN.

WARNER NEEDED HIS DADDY TO CALL THEM TO BE ABLE TO GET IN.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE NO ONE EVEN UNDERSTANDS.
